What We Do

— Education

Our work around Education is focused on;

Digital Inclusion – which is more on collaborating with other partners to ensuring all Africans have access to and use information and communication technologies to accelerate social change in the societies.
Digital Rights – through the acceleration of digital inclusion activities, we also focus on the human rights of these users of online services and work on solutions to amplify people’s rights online.
Digital Equity – DFA also is focused on the needed condition around the capacity for full participation in the African societies, democracy and economy.

— Skills Development

The Digital Foundation Africa leverages on the needed digital technologies to empower each African within our targeted audience of our works by giving them the cognitive and technical skills to make them digitally employable and entrepreneurial.

— Policy, Research & Innovation

We conduct and collaborate to improve public policy in Africa through independent non-partisan research that solves problems through innovative approach at the local, national and continental levels.

We also accelerate the implementation of innovations in Africa to make the general public digitally-enabled.

— Events

The Digital Foundation Africa through its annual signature event AFRICA DIGITAL FESTIVAL;

Showcase innovations built in by Africa for Africa,
Recognizing ecosystems through dialogues and implementation of policies among others while
Celebrating the digital future

Also organizing other ICT-related events to promote or serve as the platform to advance the continent’s digital future.
