Our Initiatives

— GetHer

An initiative which was started in 2019 under the Africa Digital Festival to empower a million women across 20 African countries with digital skills by 2030 and by leveraging on digital media to make women not just digital literates but employable to bridge the gap between men and women in Africa’s Digital Ecosystem.

— The BeHive

As part of DFA’s Entrepreneurial support pathway to support our skills development sector, we established an innovation hub in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions to accelerating and reconstructing communities through digital technologies, education and funding for economic opportunities for the youth and startups beyond the regions.

The Hub is located in Goaso.

— Digital Employability & Entrepreneurship Program (DEEP)

Digital Employability & Entrepreneurship Program (DEEP) is a highly intensive, project and work-based 52 Weeks digital skills training program that would equip 100,000 trainees with theoretical foundations and hands-on work experience, while facilitating job placements and business startups.

An Intensive Skills Development Training, Internship And Job Creation Initiative For The Youth Across 8 West African countries

— Ghana Education Technology Network

An Innovate ICT4E project designed to address the shortcomings of ICT4E initiatives and truly leverage on ICT as an enabler to enhance the teaching and learning experience in all subjects and classes for teachers and students in Ghana with key components including:

  • Sensitization & Capacity Building Workshops

  • Infrastructure Deployment

  • Content & Application Server Deployment

  • Central Computer Helpdesk

  • Virtual collaboration and partnership across the country.
